Mans Part in Gods Plan
Romans 14 : 7-9 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. |
The Covenants within Gods Word are like a contract. It doesn't matter whether we enter into that contract or choose not to enter into the contract, we are bound by the terms. The contract, written in the beginning of time by the trinity of God and signed by the Blood of His Son Jesus on the cross of Calvary. If we choose to enter into that contract then we walk in the blessings provided by the terms. By not choosing to enter into the contract, we fail to see those blessings and suffer by the those same terms much like we would suffer if we failed to abide by the laws or Covenants agreed to by governments and organizations.
Romans 14 : 11-12
For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. |
"How do we enter into God's Covenant?"
Romans 10 : 8-10 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
