For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; |
We may think we have lived a good life or we may look back at the life we have lived and wish that we had never been born. Regardless of how we have lived our life, in the sight of GOD we are sinners and as sinners we are sentenced to death.
A death sentence by GOD carries a penalty of eternal separation from HIM. The death of our body is only a doorway leading to eternity. Where we will spend, if that is a good word, eternity is a choice GOD has left in our hands. Eternity is forever with no measure of time. Jesus, by HIS death on the cross, opened the doorway to Heaven. Now, we must choose, are we going to walk through that door, that is, are we going to accept what Jesus did on the cross of Calvary or deny HIM and face Eternity without GOD.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. |
Our first step on the road to Heaven is to call on the name of Jesus. Be honest with HIM, tell HIM you believe in HIM. In simple words admit you know you are a sinner, that you know there is nothing you alone can do to save your life.
Admit you need and want HIM, Jesus, to come into your life, to change your life. HE is faithful and just to hear your prayer and will save your Soul. HE will do that by accepting you just as you are, HE doesn't forget the life you have lived but stands in judgment for you, taking your place before the judgment seat of GOD, taking your punishment that you might be Justified as you stand before the FATHER.
Call on Jesus today, don't wait another moment. You don't have to change anything. You don't have to try and do better. Simply admit. "Jesus, I'm a sinner, I can't change myself, forgive me and come into my life. Jesus Save Me?"
