Step Eight- "Am I my Brothers Keeper?"

Hebrews 10:24-27

And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries..

There's no time left for squabbles, for bickering and backbiting. There's no time for sitting down, no time for sleeping, The key to step eight is to provoke, how can you treat, or what can you do to provoke those you come in contact with to do good works? No man is an island, even Jesus chose twelve apostles to help. We can pattern our life after HIS. He announced HIS calling. Know ye not that I must be about my Father's business? Later as he neared the Jordan river, HE began HIS ministry on earth by publically acknowledging to the world the purpose of his life.

Mathew 3:13-16

Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
