Step Two - "Never Give Up"

Armed for Battle
I wish I could tell you that one battle is all we must fight but we live from Faith to Faith and Faith without Works is dead. Each victory in our life as a Christian only leads to another battle and with Christ's help another victory. This brings us to the second step in our life as a Christian.

Heb:4:11-12: Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

If we are to remain victorious, we must study to show ourselves approved, we must hide the Word of God in our hearts. We find in God's word that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Add to this the fact we either live or die by our words and we can understand the importance of laboring, of studying, of being ready to speak the Word of God to the problems in our life.
