Step Eleven - The Battleground
|
Hebrews 13:5-6
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

There comes a time in the life of every soldier when they must leave the safety of their camp. As young Christians we have the security of those around us but as with every soldier our training leads us into battle. With our staff in hand, holding the banner of Christ high we must march into battle. Armed with all the Love, Joy and Peace of our Commander in Chief we must leave the security of those around us and march into battle. Just as HE was treated by those HE loved we also with our hand in HIS must reach out to the lost.
Hebrews 13:13-14 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
